Manganese(II) Sulfate

The last chemical I drew out of a hat, way back in April, was Manganese Sulfate. The original purpose of drawing chemicals out of the hat was so that I would be challenged to make use of a chemical that might otherwise remain lonely and unused on the shelf… as most of them have been for years. For a while, it was working out just fine. Lately, however, it has been more of a pain than a challenge. I’m still going to do featured chemicals like this, but I’m not entirely sure they’re going to be drawn from a hat.

In any case: better late than never! Here’s manganese sulfate!!

There’s another small format change that comes with this video, and that is that I’m not going to ramble on and on in the blog posts. Yes, my dad used to use this demonstration to “scare” interns. I told that story in the video, no need to rehash it here!

I guess you could say that I’m trying to streamline the HausLab workflow! See you next time!
